Dial up connection setup with Windows XP internet
connection wizard

To start the wizard, click on  then  .
Select Network and Internet connections
|

Step 1
Click on the link " Set up or change your internet connection
|
|
Step 2
In the Internet Properties dialogue box under the Connections tab, click on the " Set up" button to launch
new connection wizard

Step 3
Click on the " Next" button to proceed with the setup.

Step 4
Choose " Connect to the Internet " then click " Next
" button.

Step 5
Choose " Set up my connection manually " then click " Next
" button.

Step 6
For the internet connection, select " Connect using a dial up modem
" then click " Next
" to continue.

Step 7
Now type a name to associate with your connection then click " Next
" .
Tip : It may be useful to give
a name that is related to
to your ISP, like Comone
|

Step 8
Enter the Dial up phone number in the phone number box. The phone number for Comone is " 041 " then click " Next
" to continue.

Step 9
in the Internet Account Information dialogue box, provide your account
details as given on your application form. For the user name, enter the name
as given for the Dialup user name. Type in your password and confirm it by
retyping it in the confirm password box.
You can also check any of the options as desired.
Click " Next " button to continue.

Step 10
Review the summary given.
Click " Finish " to compleete the Dialup connection creation.
If you need to make any changes, you can click " Back " to make the
changes.
You may also elect to add a shortcut to your desktop.
